Inspired by the Singapore River’s continued history as a lively epicenter of trade, business and collaboration among workers of diverse cultural and racial backgrounds, the Port of Connection reimagines this spirit of connection and exchange for the modern era. The space is designed to nurture small businesses, freelancers, and individuals seeking an alternative working environment.

The form follows the shophouse - Twakow boat typology of the past, which naturally creates pockets of interaction inside the site.
